In other words, if it's too short to fit our novel category, which starts at 45000 words, or too long for our Single Shot line which ends at 15000-20000 words, it might just be a High Ball.

We're searching for gay and lesbian erotica with a romantic edge, and we're hoping for something to please our genre hungry readers. Sci fi, fantasy, urban fantasy, mystery-suspense and historical are all encouraged, as well as the conventional modern romance.

High Balls should be 20,000 words and up, featuring gay and lesbian characters, and have a romantic turn to them. Genre fiction is especially welcome..

These stories will pay 35% of the cover price on all sales made on the Torquere Press site, and 25% of the cover price on all sales from our distributors' sites, paid quarterly. Distributor sales are not paid until we receive payment from that seller.

We do not accept material with underage characters, bestiality, or rape.
